The 2018 Youth for Survival Gala, hosted by the Youth Council for Suicide Prevention, was an event focused on education, awareness, and prevention of suicide in the community. This event was on May 4th 2018, from 7-9:30 PM, and took place at the Carnegie Center in Cincinnati. There was a presentation by guest speaker Lauren Tebbe, information booths, and local artwork, which all focused on the causes, effects, and prevention of suicide. There was also musical entertainment from local jazz band, Jazz@Dusk. Appetizers and drinks were also be available.
This is a semi-formal event.
All money raised goes towards the council's future projects for suicide prevention awareness in schools and in the community, such as satellite groups, mentoring programs, and event presentations.

Success!
In 2018, the Youth for Survival Gala raised over $3864 towards suicide prevention and mental health awareness! Everyone had a great time and we are so excited for next year.
